Bugatti 16C Galibier Concept Car: Luxury — Complete Luxury…

When you think about it – what is a luxury car? Well, I have to say that the Bugatti 16C Galibier concept car is the best luxury car in the world. This concept car … if it goes through mind you is going to be one of the best, best, best cars on the market. The concept revealed a two-door car, mid-engine Veyron that is going to be much more conventional than a four-door, front-engine body style.
Now, you want to know about the specs on the Bugatti 16C Galibier? Well, according to autoblog.com: the the 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine would carry over, albeit detuned from its 1000+ hp output in the Veyron to “only” 800, while sources suggest that the Veyron’s purpose-built dual-clutch transmission would be replaced with a more conventional torque-converter eight-speed automatic.
With less power and a larger shape, the Galibier 16C is tipped to reach a 220 mph top speed – a good thirty less than the Veyron’s top end, but still miles ahead of even the fastest production sedans.
Sounds fantastic right?
Bugatti is Celebrating 100 Years of Success

Buggati Celebrates: Since its formation in 1909, Bugatti has continued to blaze a path of glory. To commemorate its 100th anniversary, Bugatti pays tribute to its motor-racing roots with the release of four special Veyron Centenaires. The cars were displayed at this year’s Concorso D’Eleganza Villa d’Este alongside the historic Type 35 racers for a one-time only event on 26th April in Lake Como.

Each car not only adopts the name of Bugatti’s most successful racers but also a sheen representing their respective national racing colours: Green for Malcolm Campbell, white for Hermann zu Leiningen, red for Achille Varzi and blue for Jean-Pierre Wimille.

The celebration began with the unveiling of the Blue Centenaire in Geneva and continues with the Pebble Beach Concorso D’Eleganza. The grand finale will be held in Molsheim on 12th September.
